Book Maya Island Air for domestic flights across Belize as well as into Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras. Maya Island Air also operates tours, charters and freight services using a mix of light aircraft, including several Cessna 208B Caravans and Brittan-Norman’s BN2A Islander model aircraft.
Customers can reach exciting, tropical destinations, world-famous diving sites and Mayan ruins by transiting through the Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (PGIA) in Belize City.
Other domestic destinations include Caye Caulker, Caye Chapel, Corozal, Dangriga, Placencia, Punta Gorda, San Pedro Town and Savannah Station, or combine Mexico, Honduras and Guatemala.
Three charter flight options are available on request: Custom; Corporate; and Medical. There is also a freight service.
Launched as Maya Airways, as it is sometimes still called, in 1962, the company was rebranded Maya Island Air after a merger with Island Air in 1997. The business is headquartered in Belize City.
