Greek airline, Ellinair was founded in 2013 by the Mouzenidis Group as a means to provide much-needed capacity on routes from popular Greek source markets across Europe and Russia. Today, the airline flies to more than 40 destinations from its different bases in Greece, connecting with Poland, Germany, Romania, Kazakhstan and many different parts of Russia.
The majority of flights operate from Ellinair’s bases at the Thessaloniki International Airport and Athens International Airport. However, during peak seasons, additional direct flights are offered from Corfu and Heraklion.
Ellinair’s fleet includes four Airbus 320s and one A319, with capacity for 180 and 144 passengers respectively. Fare categories include Economy Basic, Standard and Economy Plus.
Ellinair is still owned by the Mouzenidis Group, parent company of Mouzenidis Travel, and is headquartered in Thessaloniki.
