“What constitutes a “good” GSA and what is needed to remain relevant to our clients?
AirlinePros Regional Assembly – The EMEA edition in Lusaka, Zambia.
The second session of AirlinePros Regional Assembly, ARA, for Europe, Middle East and Africa was held at Lusaka, Zambia. ARA, designed to enhance skills and professional growth of team members across our global offices, also aims to provide coaching to foster cohesion and enable effective collaboration.
The three-day program saw nearly 50 participants from the region engage in interactive sessions. Topics ranged from ‘understanding the role of emotional and cultural intelligence in building a successful and sustainable network’ helmed by Thomas Windmuller, our Board Member and ex-IATA Senior VP, Member Relations, to a panel discussion on ‘what constitutes a good GSA and how to ensure continued relevance in the changing aviation landscape’ moderated by thought leader and AASA CEO, Aaron Munetsi.
The program, tailored to address the unique challenges and opportunities facing the industry today, had senior management from AirlinePros focus on core product training, ancillary products review, global customer experience strategies, global compliances, leveraging technology to automate, innovate and streamline processes for efficiency and effectiveness across borders.
Location for the EMEA edition was chosen carefully keeping in mind the rising status of Africa as a superpower, holding immense potential as a global economic and aviation powerhouse. With a youthful population, growing digital economy, vibrant industries, expanding infrastructure, the continent is primed for growth like never before. AirlinePros has always been at the forefront of this surge, working with several African airlines and associations like the AASA, which represents the interests of airline members, service providers, organizations, and governments.
Beyond broader understanding, strengthened professional networks, and actionable strategies, fostering a sense of community and a shared purpose driving growth, there was performance by a Zambian Cultural Troupe and great music by Afro Red at the gala dinner graced by Zambian luminaries.
