“AirlinePros International has been representing RwandAir in the USA and Canada for many years and it is an airline with a vision, and a clearly articulated mission to promote Rwanda,” said Achma Asokan Foster, Group CEO, AirlinePros International. “We are honored to support them in Singapore and our AirlinePros team is already promoting this award-winning airline.”

RwandAir currently serves 25 destinations most of which are within the African continent to countries such as South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, and Ghana.

The airline also flies to cities in Europe, the Middle East and Asia including Brussels, London, Paris, Dubai, Doha and Mumbai. As of now, the fleet consists of Airbus A330 widebodies, Boeing 737s, Bombardier CRJ-900s, and De Havilland Canada Dash 8-Q400s.

“RwandAir expanding their global footprint to Singapore represents a new chapter in their growth”, said Chris Tan, Managing Director of AirlinePros Singapore. “We are privileged to partner with RwandAir and are fully committed to leveraging our regional expertise to enhance their presence in Southeast Asia. Our dedicated team at AirlinePros Singapore is eager to showcase RwandAir’s exceptional service and expanding network to a much broader client base.”

In 2021, RwandAir and Qatar Airways signed a comprehensive codeshare agreement to offer travelers more choice, enhanced service, and greater connectivity to more than 65 destinations across Africa and the rest of the world. It was recently announced that Qatar Airways is expected to finalize its 49% stake in the carrier and 60% in the new Bugesera International Airport in Kigali, clearing the runway for more growth, improved customer experience and greater connectivity.

The state-owned airline has begun an ambitious plan to expand its fleet of 13 aircraft and has taken delivery this year of three additional leased Boeing aircraft. RwandAir plans to increase its route network to 39 destinations in five years.
