Hong Kong Airlines Adds Daily Flights to Vancouver, Canada

Commencing June 30, 2017, Hong Kong Airlines, the internationally acclaimed, full-service airline out of Hong Kong, is to expand its network into North America with the launch of non-stop flights between Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) and Vancouver International Airport (YVR). Daily service between Hong Kong and Vancouver will be operated using a 283-seat Airbus A330-200 aircraft. Flights will be available via GDS, starting February 07, 2017.

“Servicing the Hong Kong/Vancouver route is our debut on the North American market”, commented Mr. Li Dianchun, Chief Commercial Officer at Hong Kong Airlines. “We have established a vast destination network, covering over 30 major cities in the Asia Pacific region. Noting that Canada is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year, we wish to attract as many visitors as possible, as well as encourage family reunions or business co-operation. This new service will also open up more opportunities for travelers worldwide to leverage our connectivity in Asia, hence bringing more diverse and convenient travel options for travelers from Hong Kong, the Pearl River Delta region, Oceania and North America.”
Hong Kong Airlines offers passengers the convenience of traveling with up to two 23kg checked baggage allowance (or two 32kg baggage for Business class). Free meals and state-of-the-art inflight entertainment make it a most enjoyable travel experience.
