Southern Airways will commence daily flights from Baltimore-Washington International from Hagerstown, Maryland and Altoona, Pennsylvania on November 19.
With this, the airline is changing its East Coast hub for Hagerstown from Washington Dulles International Airport to BWI Marshall Airport. The airline is also switching half its daily Altoona flights from Pittsburgh International Airport to BWI. Other Pittsburgh flights from Altoona will continue.
On October 31, Southern Airways will begin its operations between Pittsburgh and Harrisburg, becoming the first nonstop airline service between the two Pennsylvania cities in more than eight years.
