Southern Airways Express Chairman and CEO, Stan Little, was at the Boone County Airport, Harrison on Oct. 11 to make the latest pitch to become the facility’s air service provider. Furthermore, the airline will also bid for the airports in Hot Springs and El Dorado.
Southern Airways proposed Memphis and Dallas-Ft. Worth as hubs to which Harrison would be connected. Depending on the board’s decision, it could provide two trips daily to Dallas-Ft Worth and one to Memphis or vice versa.
Southern Airways’ Gulf region, which includes both of the proposed hubs, also includes daily flights from Memphis to Nashville and Destin, Florida. The airline would like to include cities like New Orleans, Jacksonville, Hilton Head, Charlotte, Knoxville and St. Louis. Read more
