Oman Air starts revamping long-haul jets

Oman Air has started upgrading the interiors of its long-haul Airbus fleet and recently welcomed back an A330-200 aircraft featuring the new seats and cabin products that will gradually be rolled out across the airline’s entire twin-aisle Airbus fleet. The revamped aircraft features 30 business class seats in a 2-2-2 configuration, all of which recline to form fully-flat beds. The 196 new economy class seats have a pitch of 32-34 inches (81-86cm). All passengers are offered touch-screen in-flight entertainment, USB ports, plug sockets and in-flight Wi-Fi.
The airline will also start taking delivery of its new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners next year. Oman Air currently operates a fleet of 10 A330s and four B787-8 Dreamliners. It will also take delivery of 10 B787-9s between 2017 and 2020. Read more
