Marcelo Soria brings over two decades of experience in the aviation industry, beginning with American Airlines in 1991, where he served as Sales Manager and Acting Country Manager in Bolivia. In 2000, Marcelo joined Taca Airlines, advancing to key positions including Regional Manager of Bolivia and Sales Manager at the HUB Port in Peru. After the Taca-Avianca merger, he continued to lead as Regional Manager for Bolivia and Paraguay until
July 2018. In addition to his corporate achievements, Marcelo has played a significant role in the aviation and diplomatic sectors. He was the President of the Bolivian Airline Association (ALA Bolivia) from 1999 to 2018 and has served as the Honorary Consul of El Salvador in La Paz since 2013. Marcelo also led the SKAL International Club in La Paz as President from 2012 to 2018.
