Celebrating the start of the most prestigious travel show in the US, the New York Times Travel Show, APTA (The Association for the Promotion of Tourism to Africa) hosted their signature event, ‘The Gathering’, on January 27, 2017. The RwandAir team was present to raise awareness for destination Rwanda, Africa’s magnificent, landlocked, mountainous region, often compared to Switzerland.
RwandAir, together with the Rwanda Development Board, exhibited during the New York Times Travel Show, taking place at the Jacob Javits Convention Center, January 27 – 29, 2017. Rwanda’s flag carrier promoted its upcoming service to New York’s JFK airport, with anticipated launch date at the end of 2017. The Kigali (KGL) New York JFK service is expected to operate 3 x week, with a stop in Accra, Ghana.
