Greek regional carrier Sky Express took home two prestigious awards:

  • ‘Best of Top 10 Airlines’ in 2017 – the award recognizes the overall fastest growing airline, operating at Athens International Airport (AIA), among the ten airlines that recorded the highest passenger traffic volumes
  • ‘Fastest Growing Airline in Domestic Sector’ – awarded for the highest percentage passenger growth 2017/2016

Every year, Athens International Airport recognizes those airlines that achieved the fastest development and the highest increases in passenger volumes in their scheduled services. This year’s award ceremony took place during the 18th Airline Marketing Workshop, “The PairFUME of the Athenian Spring”, in Athens, on March 01, 2018.
Based at Heraklion International Airport (HER), on the island of Crete, Sky Express was founded in 2005, and has flown thousands of flight hours, linking the brand name with safety and excellent passenger service.
