On December 06, 2016, the 4th Annual Kazakhstan-US Convention took place at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Washington DC. This year’s event marked the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and the Unites States, and the 25th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s independence.
Air Astana, the national carrier of Kazakhstan, joined the celebration, and was represented by North America Sales and Marketing Manager Naresh Lalwani. “The annual convention brings together members of the U.S. Congress, Administration officials, business and thought leaders, who contribute to advancing the strategic and commercial partnership between Kazakhstan and the United States”, commented Naresh Lalwani. “Topics discussed included commercial opportunities, sustainable development, green technologies, and infrastructure investments”.
