VietJet Air and Thai VietJet Air launch five new international routes

VietJet Air and its sister airline Thai VietJet Air are launching a total of five new routes between 30 October and 12 December 2016 using their Airbus A320 aircraft. On 30 October 2016, VietJet will operate daily flights between Hanoi and Taipei- Taoyuan. On 12 December 2016, the airline will commence 4 times weekly services ( Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays) between Ho Chi Minh City- Kaohsiung and Haiphong-Incheon routes.


By 12 December 2016, VietJet Air will operate the most number of scheduled flights to Taiwan from Southeast Asia as it has frequent flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Taoyuan, Tainan and now Kaohsiung. It is the first low-cost international airline to fly to Tainan from Southeast Asia.

On 9 November 2016, Thai Vietjet Air will commence its thrice weekly ( Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays) operations to Haiphong. It will also operate daily flights from Suvarnabhumi to Ho Chi Minh City with effect from 30 October 2016.
