Lao Airlines, the national carrier of the Lao PDR, and fastest growing state-owned company in the country, will increase service on the Vientiane/Pakse route for the Winter 2017/18 season. Beginning October 29, 2017, three flights will be added to the existing 14 weekly flights currently operated on that route.
In addition, Lao Airlines will resume service to Singapore in the upcoming Winter 2017/18 season. Beginning October 29, 2017, the route Luang Prabang/Vientiane/Singapore will be offered three times a week. Service will be operated on Airbus A-320 aircraft. Earlier this year, in March, Lao Airlines had temporarily suspended that service.
