- Practice high ethical standards and compliance.
It is a tribute to each of the AirlinePros team members across the world for making us one of the leading GSAs. We could not have done it without your dedication, hard work and professionalism.
While undergoing major transformation, the aviation industry is also adapting at a commendable pace to evolving global dynamics, technological advancements, and changing customer expectations. For a GSA like AirlinePros, we realize that these trends present fabulous opportunities to expand our role and service offerings to enhance our contributions to the world of aviation particularly since we are ex-airline professionals and been there and done that and felt the pain!
As a GSA, we are the local market experts for our airline clients and we are in many ways quite indispensable in their growth story.
I had previously written about our foray into training and development through AirlinePros Masterclass with leading industry consultant and our aviation and tourism development partner Gavin Eccles.
This time around, I am going to look forward. Let’s together explore the opportunities the world of aviation holds for a GSA – some of it discovered, but a lot remaining to be harnessed. Here are some emerging trends that are in our plans to commercialize for 2025.
AirlinePros Airport Support Services
- As we all know, airport support is a critical customer-facing function for airlines and it encompasses a wide range of functions designed to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The most important functions include check-in, boarding and gate services, which are essential for passenger comfort and convenience. Furthermore, these services involve providing assistance and information to passengers, such as lost luggage support and flight updates.
- These services are crucial for maintaining the efficiency and reliability of airline operations.
AirlinePros Low-Cost Carriers (LCCs) Direct Marketing Support Services
- As we know, across the world LCCs, most of whom have been expanding quite aggressively, leaving no stone unturned, have been reshaping the aviation landscape by offering pocket-friendly travel options to the growing middle-class traveler base.
- In the USA, the LCC landscape is changing with the current challenges facing both Spirit Airlines and Southwest Airlines. AirlinePros, as the key intermediary between airlines and travel agents, can play a vital role in ensuring that these airlines can expand their reach with limited budget options. By building relationships with local partners and developing targeted marketing strategies we can help these LCCs to become sustainable players in any market.
AirlinePros Digital Destination Marketing Portal
- Though it was the pandemic which accelerated the adoption of digital technologies across our sector, it is here to stay as we have realized by now. From contactless check-ins to biometric boarding, airlines are increasingly investing in technology to streamline operations and enhance passenger experiences. AirlinePros has been looking at ways to leverage these innovations by integrating digital platforms into our sales and marketing processes.
- One such innovation that AirlinePros has been working on is a Digital Destination Marketing Platform to help our airline partners. Airlines are a means to an end, and the end is really the “Destinations” that they fly to. flyingcarpet.travel is a portal which allows passengers to choose any unexplored destination, find an airline flight to take them there, find a place to stay in the destination and also find all kinds of activities in the destination that can create an unforgettable, magical experience.
AirlinePros Regional Connectivity Support Services.
- Regional travel has taken off like never before and more and more people are looking for convenient and comfortable ways to travel within their own countries and regions. As a result, airlines are increasingly focusing on expanding their regional networks. AirlinePros has global expertise in regional connectivity, interlining and codeshare, and can play a crucial role in driving growth for airlines in these untapped regional markets, working closely with local governments, national tourism bodies and businesses to promote these regional routes.
AirlinePros Cargo Consolidation and Support Services
- Not just because of the pandemic, but also the rise of e-commerce and global supply chain demand, cargo operations have been getting a lot of attention. Cargo is an important revenue stream for airlines, and AirlinePros is in the process of setting up a new venture for cargo consolidation and representation. We have great relationships with many of our airline partners who need support, and we are building a team with specialized knowledge in cargo operations to enable a wide offering of end-to-end logistics solutions.
AirlinePros Customer Experience Personalization Support Services
- The customer today is more discerning than they have ever been before, expecting personalized travel experiences from custom in-flight services to tailored booking options. Banking on this shift, airlines too are increasingly focusing on offering personalized experiences to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- AirlinePros has the global outreach and market intelligence, to create targeted marketing campaigns that resonate with specific customer segments based on data, preferences, and travel behavior. We can help our airlines create deeper and more meaningful connections with their customers – adding to their overall brand value and experience.
AirlinePros Distribution Strategy & Financial Control Workshops
- Airline global distribution strategy refers to the various methods airlines use to sell tickets and distribute their services to passengers in the various Online and Offline Markets.
- Financial control services in the airline industry involve managing costs, revenues, and overall financial health.
- These services are crucial for maintaining the financial stability and operational efficiency of airlines.
As we move into 2025, let us keep in mind the following
The aviation industry – as with most industries the world over – is undergoing a vast transformative shift. This presents a unique opportunity for our client airlines to capitalize on emerging trends and reach out to us with their growth objectives. We would work together to customize products that can increase revenues and reduce costs which will drive profitability, and ensure long-term sustainability in the dynamic world of aviation.
