  • Malaysia Airlines has partnered with Mercedes-Benz to offer Enrich Platinum members, Business Suite and Business Class passengers, and all new Mercedes-Benz car owners seamless airport terminal transfers in a special fleet of flagship Mercedes model vehicles.
  • Look out for ancillary-bundled fares, such as the Value Bundle (which includes a standard seat and 10kg extra baggage), the Premium Bundle (which features an extra legroom seat and KLIA Terminal 1 Golden Lounge access), and the MH Traveller’s Trio package (which combines a standard seat, 10kg extra baggage, and KLIA Terminal 1 Golden Lounge access).
  • Malaysia Airlines is part of the Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG), which owns a range of aviation, loyalty, and travel service businesses, including Enrich – Malaysia Airlines’ award-winning Travel & Lifestyle loyalty program. MHolidays is the tour operating arm of the group.
  • The airline reported its third consecutive year of positive operating profits in April. It said passenger traffic had remained robust in the premium segment, with strong load factors in both passenger and cargo segments.
  • In 2024, Malaysia Airlines was awarded the APEX Four-Star Major Airline status and ranked among the Top 10 for World’s Best Cabin Crew by Skytrax. It has also received awards for its in-flight dining, which includes a Chef on Call feature and a popular Best of Asia menu.
  • The airline’s Young Explorers Club caters to families with young travelers. Features include dedicated priority check-in counters and family boarding privileges, special in-flight menus, and activity packs to keep children entertained.
  • Committed to modernizing and expanding its fleet, Malaysia Airlines is aiming for a narrowbody fleet of 55 aircraft – Boeing 737-8 and 737-10s – to serve domestic and certain international routes by 2030. The group will add 10 Airbus A330neos, used for long-haul routes, by the end of this year.
  • The new A330neos are fitted with 297 seats – 28 in Business Class and 269 in Economy Class (24 offer extra legroom). Business Class cabins feature a 1-2-1 herringbone seat configuration and special Collins Aerospace Elevation Business Class seats.
  • The A330neo also features high-speed Wi-Fi – free to use regardless of cabin class or the passenger’s loyalty tier.
