Dominican Republic Trade Show Showcases Industry Growth in Miami

The Dominican Republic’s third annual international trade show in Miami on April 2, 2025, reinforced its status as the Caribbean’s leading tourism destination. Held at the JW Marriott Marquis, the event gathered over 600 industry professionals, including airlines, travel agencies, and media, to discuss tourism growth and investment opportunities.

AirlinePros Dominican Republic, represented by Jerry-Max Theophile, played a key role in discussions that led to agreements expected to bring 500,000 more tourists, $1.3 billion in hotel investments, and 33,000 new jobs.

With the trade show concluded, its impact continues to drive tourism and aviation expansion. Minister of Tourism David Collado highlighted the country’s growing prominence in luxury travel, citing developments in Punta Cana, Miches, and Santiago.
