Avianca is due to start non-stop flights connecting Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and Managua (MGA), Nicaragua, from May 10, 2025. The new service will operate daily with an Airbus A320 aircraft on the route.

The service will add over 2,500 seats weekly between Fort Lauderdale and Nicaragua’s capital, improving connectivity for leisure and business pax headed in either direction.

The new route also strengthens avianca’s presence in Fort Lauderdale and complements existing flights to Bogotá and another recently named service to Medellín, Colombia.
