Norwegian adventures: Katya Varela and travel agents discover the best of Norway’s breathtaking landscapes!
AirlinePros Sales Manager Katya Varela recently embarked on an educational through Norway, accompanied by a small group of agents. With flights operated by Widerøe, the group explored the stunning landscapes and traditional coastal life of the Helgeland and Vesterålen archipelagos. Highlights included wandering through the charming fishing village of Langøya, which is famous for its whale safaris and deep-sea fishing. In Tromsdalen, the group was wowed by breathtaking Northern Lights views, right next to the iconic Arctic Cathedral. They also visited the picturesque village of Andenes, known for its dramatic coastal cliffs and the beautiful Arctic Ocean, while Longyearbyen offered great opportunities for birdwatching and wildlife encounters – even in the chilly climate!
Throughout the adventure, Katya connected with wonderful people and experienced all that Norway has to offer firsthand. Thanks to the friendly and helpful airport staff, traveling on Widerøe’s routes made everything smooth and enjoyable. Katya and her fellow agents – Kat Robert Angel from Scandinavian Travel, Kelly Swift from Travel Quest International, and Ivona Pivona from Central Park Travel – toured incredible spots like Helgeland, Lofoten, Vesterålen, Senja, and Tromsø, leaving them with unforgettable memories of Norway’s natural beauty and rich culture.
