Tunisia’s flag carrier Tunisair plans to resume service to Sudan in 2018, offering the Tunis – Khartoum non-stop route. The airline plans two weekly flights, operated on Airbus A320 aircraft, with service commencing March 27, 2018.
Anticipated flight schedule as follows:
TU395 TUN2045 – 0315+1KRT 32A 24
TU396 KRT0405 – 0710TUN 32A 35
The airline last served Khartoum from February 1981 to May 1989, mainly operating Tunis – Jeddah – Khartoum, or Tunis – Cairo – Jeddah – Khartoum routes, twice or three times weekly with Boeing 727 and/or Airbus A300 aircraft.
