MYANMAR AIRWAYS INTERNATIONAL (MAI)

Myanmar Airways International (MAI) is a private airline headquartered in Yangon, Myanmar. Established in 1993, the airline operates mainly from its hub at Yangon International Airport. MAI primarily focuses on international routes, connecting Myanmar with various destinations in Asia, such as Thailand, Malaysia, China, and India.

Focusing on the safety, comfort, and convenience of its travelers, MAI maintains a fleet consisting of aircraft A319s, A320s, and E190s, operated by a well-trained and professional crew. MAI operates its flights from Yangon and additionally from Mandala and serves around 28 routes throughout Myanmar and region-wise.

MAI carriers strictly adhere to Myanmar Civil Aviation Requirements (MCAR) and the operational standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). The airline has a track record of being a 100% accident-free airline, which displays its uncompromising priority on passenger safety. MAI is an IATA Clearing House member (ICH) and has received the IATA Operational Safety Audit Program (IOSA) Operator title.

The Sky Smile Program, by Myanmar Airways International, is a loyalty program for its regular passengers where the members can earn miles based on the flights they take with MAI, according to predefined rates and terms. Any passenger who is over 12 years old can be a member of this program.

Myanmar Airways International serves around 35 destinations across Myanmar, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, China, India, United Arab Emirates, Cambodia, Vietnam, South Korea, Russia, Laos, and Qatar.
