CARIBBEAN AIRLINES
Caribbean Airlines is the national airline of Trinidad and Tobago, with its main base located at the Piarco International Airport in Port of Spain. The airline is owned by the government of Trinidad and Tobago. Founded in 2006, Caribbean Airlines also operates from a secondary hub at Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston, Jamaica, in addition to its primary operations in Trinidad and Tobago. The airline operates scheduled flights to numerous destinations within the Caribbean as well as North America and South America.
The fleet of Caribbean Airlines consists of ATR 72-600, which is used mainly for Intra-Caribbean and South American routes, and Boeing 737-8, which is designed with state-of-the-art technology to be quieter, more fuel efficient, and environmentally friendly.
Caribbean Airlines has interline partnerships with various airlines including American Airlines, Air Canada, Air France, Air India, British Airways, Copa Airlines, InterCaribbean Airways, Korean Air, and Royal Dutch Airlines, among others, to expand its reach and provide passengers with additional travel options and greater connectivity. ‘Caribbean Miles’ is a loyalty program of the airline specially designed for those who travel frequently within, to, and from the Caribbean. Travelers can ‘Earn Miles’ every time they fly with the airline or with one of its partners and redeem travel rewards.
